An Atypical Journey

Kyle’s introduction to organizational excellence followed an atypical route. Originally trained as a Biologist, Kyle spent four years at the nationally-ranked Signature School in Evansville, Indiana teaching Biology, Multimedia and Digital Photography.


In 2006, he transferred the teaching skills that he had honed in the classroom to the business environment. Working as a Business Analyst and Special Projects Manager for Anchor Industries, Inc. and serving on the corporate Strategic Planning Team, Kyle conferred an MBA-by-fire, while managing substantial integration and system change projects across J.D. Edwards ERP, AutoCAD products and Business Intelligence software.

Kyle received B.A. degrees in both Biology and Secondary Education at Augie.

SIGNATURE SCHOOL - EVANSVILLE, IN

Beginning in 2002, Kyle taught four years at the nationally-ranked Signature School. Kyle had the privilege of helping create the first Multimedia and International Baccalaureate (IB) Biology curriculums for the school.

ANCHOR INDUSTRIES - EVANSVILLE, IN

After exposure to Lean during multiple benchmarking trips, the Anchor senior leadership team committed to an enterprise-wide transformation. Kyle, as leader of the internal Lean Promotion Department, was given the role of developing and deploying the Anchor Performance System (APS).

WESTERN EXCELSIOR CORP. - MANCOS, CO

With the 2012 opportunity to serve both as GM of Mancos Operations for Western Excelsior Corp. and the Director of Operational Excellence for the company, Kyle left Anchor. His time at Western allowed Kyle the influence to transform a Business Unit (BU) using Lean.
